Thank you God for continuing to bless Stephen on his journey. Thank you for allowing him to meet a very special girl , Autumn. Please continue to bless them as they grow in your love may their love for each other grow stronger everyday. Bless them as they embark on this new phase in their lives may they continue to give you all the glory and praise. May they continue to lean on you for guidance in their future marriage. Keep both of them safe and grant them the grace they need for everyday. In Jesus name I pray

Thank You, Father, for sustaining Byx in the face of all kinds of things.

Thank YOU for the how he’s not just loving a place, but more importantly, he’s loving the people in Haiti

Thank You that he’s finding You in ways that he never would have imagined.

Thank You that he continues to walk a life that says yes to whatever, whenever, wherever, whoever, however.

Thank You for what lies ahead.

Thank You for the BIG exciting life You dreamed for him a very long ago.

Invade those areas of his life in which he’s weak. Only You, You love, & Your power can fill them up.

Help him to surrender the secret sins, the petty sins, & the pet sins.

And may he find the infinitely sweet life of total surrender to You.

Thank You, Father, for this man, his life, & his life in You.

And Thank You, Father, for You.

Dear God, Today I pray for Stephen and all the young people like him who have traveled far from home to do thy will. I pray for Stephen’s safety and health. I pray that all the people’s lives he touches will turn around and be a blessing to someone else. I pray that he continues to walk in faith and rely on your grace, God. May he remember that all his friends and family back home are praying for him every day. Thank you God for allowing him to share his spiritual journey with us through his daily blog. Yes, Lord!
Use Stephen and all of the teams in his care to show Peace and Hope to Haiti.
May Stephen remain in You, all about You, and may You continue to use him for salvation and healing in Haiti.
May financial blessing be his for Your work to continue on and on and on, in Haiti and across the world.
May physical, spiritual, mental and emotional health be his for Your glory.
May your people rise up and support Your good work in Haiti through Stephen, and may not one supporter forget their role in Your work there.
Continue to bless Stephen, Lord, with more and more opportunity, strength, Light, wealth, wisdom, perseverance, hope, and so so much more!

Father, You know where Byx is in his heart & spirit right now. Thank You for where I see that spirit taking him, what I see him becoming, & for what I see growing in him from you.

Thank You for taking care of this stuff on his leg. Something like that can be SO annoying. Thank you for keeping infection away, as well as any itching.

Thank You for the lives he touches eat day – whether that’s Haitian, mission teams, his co-workers, or whomever – thank You for how he’s learning to love like You, & be like You, & in many case, BE You.

Thank You for Him – that strange & wonderful guy You created him to be. Thank You for keeping his focus on the Main Thing – You – & his eyes off immediate inconveniences, frustrating situations, or seemingly endless need. Thank You that he is learning to simply live, & take, one day at a time.

Thank You most of all for the eternal ripple effect of his life in You.

Thank You for it all, & a gajillion other things.

I see You growing inside of him.

Thank You for Your continued protection, from things earthly, & things not earthly.

Dear God I pray that you will bless Stephen this day and everyday. Please help him when he gets down and discouraged give him the faith he needs to lift him up. God please help him make the right decisions and keep his mind clear and on the task at hand. Take care of him Lord and keep him safe in your love. In Jesus name I pray

Father,
You know better than I do what’s going on in Byx’s head & heart.

You know what he’s thinking about, dealing with, & trying to discern Your direction on.

Thank You for just being inside his head, showing him the way.

Help him to follow You, & let You make the way for him, rather than him making it happen.

Thank you for his life, & for his willingness to do whatever, whoever, wherever, whenever, with however.

Father,
Thank You for this man you’re molding into a likeness of You.

Thank You for the way You’re stripping away the unnecessary, & placing Yourself there instead.

Thank You for the way You are sticking out of him in unlikely ways & unlike places, with unlikely people.

Thank You for the way You’re helping him to not become jaded, cynical, or just worn out with all the need, desperation, & overwhelming devastation of all that surrounds him.

Thank You for the way You’re showing him to de-emphasize himself, & emphasize You – thank for how he’s realizing how to stop making his time in Haiti happen, & seeing that all he has to be is available to You – You’re the one that’s gonna make things happen.

Thank You for his safety – not just physical, but emotional, spiritual, psychological, attitudinal – thank You for guarding his heart, from himself & from the devil.

And thank you for this wild, crazy, BIG adventure that you dreamed for him a gajillion years ago.

Thank You for sustaining him as he continues to say little yes’s to You.

And Father, thank You for this crazy man who I love so dearly, who colors my life so wonderfully, & who reminds me each day that the life You dreamed for us SO long ago is SO crazy wonderful!

In Jesus name I thank You for all these things, & more – I thank You for You…
