Crazy…
You know when you wake up and it just feels like the day is going to be amazing? That was today. I loved it. Up early this morning for a good breakfast and was excited about getting everything going. I needed to stop by all of the job sites and check everything out and so that’s what I did. The last set of houses the crews built are AMAZING. Walking up to them I was stunned. The workers have really become amazing. They do such great work. So that helped me start the day of great. I visited 8 sites and was extremely happy.
After the job sites I headed over to Coconut Villa to say goodbye to the White Memorial group and to pick up a few bags of donations that they had. White Memorial was a great group – I love them. I hope to be seeing them in September when I go home. When I arrived at Coconut, they were eating so I joined in. I realized I forgot some shirts and hats that they wanted to buy so I needed to run back to the compound. Right before I left they introduced me to these guys from San Diego, CA that were interested in joining up as a long term partner. I told them they would have nothing to worry about.
I rode back to the compound and then back over to Coconut again. I dropped off the shirts, talked with Pastor Leon for a few minutes and then loaded the 2 guys in the tap tap and gave them the grand tour of all the compounds. They were so amazed at the work HOM has done. They are extremely interested in partnering with HOM. It was such a God thing – meeting with them. I was so happy to be right there for them.
After I finished with those guys at 2:30pm I went to the bank. I think I am on to something good. I place a phone call in the morning and then I show up and get it all. It really takes no longer that 20 mins at the bank now. I am pretty excited.
After the bank I picked up a few items from the store and then headed back to Terre Noir. Pastor Leon came to meet the team that is here and talk with them.
Dinner was delicious, devotion was great… it was a pretty good end to a crazy day.
Nathan leaves in the morning. Gonna be weird without him. Hope he has fun.
Gotta run. I fell asleep while writing this so I just woke back up and started to finish.
Always with Love,
Stephen
